This is my “now” page inspired by Derek Sievers. It answers “what I’m doing now?“. My life, projects and priorities. I post an update here every 1-3 months.
What’s up as of June 2024?
The past few months have been a real rollercoaster. I had some trips that I had planned a year in advance, as well as two unexpected trips to say goodbye to someone important. I experienced extreme emotions and needed to cope with them to ensure I am okay (the first responder’s rule), while also needing to be there for others. I learned a lot about people and about myself.
Saying goodbye to someone close 🙏
Saying goodbye to someone close can be difficult and experiencing it remotely can be absolutely devastating.
I never thought about it until it happened to me. Fortunately, today we have the option to fly the next day and arranging everything is relatively easy.
The past weeks have been filled with mixed emotions. It’s not always easy to cope with everything.
Stoic philosophy has greatly helped me to have a healthy perspective, cope with extreme emotions, and be there for people who need me.
Visiting Mayan village, driving buggy through the jungle 🌴
We planned this trip for two years and managed to secure great deals on hotels and flights. I utilized technology by creating a travel agent using perplexity.ai. You can check it here: here.
I applied lessons learned from my recent podcast guest, Michael, using pouches to pack my family’s belongings, and also, inspired by Michael, I learned a new video editing tool and documented our trip.

It has been a wonderful experience – we visited a Mayan village, saw an animal sanctuary, and were able to observe spider monkeys, cougars, and many other animals being saved and taken care of in that place.
We had a fantastic time, and my kids learned a lot. It has been amazing to see them grow and mature even in such a short period of time.
Learning from my podcast’s guest: traveling with kids and intentional use of technology 🗺️
In a world that constantly demands our attention and involvement, finding a balance between work and personal life can be a challenging task.
However, what if we shifted our perspective from seeking balance to creating harmony in our lives? To kick off the second season of my podcast I invited my first guest.
Michael Sliwinski, the founder of Nozbe, a modern productivity app. Throughout our conversation, we explore various topics ranging from travel experiences to technological advancements while emphasizing the importance of continuous learning and growth. We discussed the concept of work-life harmony, sharing insights and reflections on how to navigate the complexities of modern living.
