Vacationing in Poland ⛰️

The past year has been quite the adventure! I decided to switch jobs, and somewhere in the midst of all that, my partner and I had this brilliant idea: let's take an extended holiday. We had such a blast that I wasted no time in booking another three-week escapade for this year. Flights were hunted down, accommodations were hunted down even more, all in the name of snagging those sweet deals.

And guess what? Mission accomplished! Our days were packed with trekking, indulging in delicious Polish grub, and becoming the undisputed champions of lightning-fast bonfires. If there were awards for that, we'd totally win. It was all about soaking up each other's company and relishing the little things.

Just like last year, we decided to mix things up by staying in a different spot every week. It was like our own version of "Travel Roulette." This genius plan let us dive headfirst into new places, catch up with the fam, and experience the full spectrum of each spot's weather. Trust me, we really got to know local climates on a personal level, experiencing the proper thunderstorm.

Hold on tight because we're about to get to the good stuff! Our eyes were treated to some of the most mind-blowing sights ever. Let me tell you about the Orawa Ethnographic Park in Zubrzyca GΓ³rna – this place is a legend. It's not just a museum; it's like a time machine. Back in 1955, someone had the genius idea to fling open the doors to this outdoor museum wonderland. Imagine getting up close and personal with the architecture, the way folks lived, and even their spiritual vibes from the Upper Orava region.

What makes this joint even cooler is that it's like a cultural mashup. Picture this: you've got Wallachian shepherds rolling in from the Eastern Carpathians, meeting up with farmers who trekked down from the north. It's like a party where everyone brought their unique flair. This mix is what makes the place pop with charm and gives you a real taste of the local culture – a quirky blend that's as delightful as it is fascinating.

Learning about AI πŸŽ“πŸ¦Ύ

Oh boy, the AI wave is hitting us like a cosmic surfing champion riding the ultimate virtual wave. And what's got everyone's gears turning? The big question: is it gonna be a heartwarming tale or a nail-biting thriller for us humans? It's like a "choose your own adventure" book, but with robots. Brace yourself, because apparently, this whole AI vibe is giving us a big-time parenting problem. Yep, you heard that right.

Here's the scoop: the fate of this digital dreamland hinges on who's doing the teaching and what the content is. It's like we're nurturing a digital bonsai tree – the outcome depends on the caretaker. And you know what tickled my brain? This course's ethics module in AI. I mean, who knew AI could use a good dose of philosophy and moral compass calibration? Sign me up!

Hold onto your neurons, because I've got a theory. This ethics stuff isn't just some side dish – it's the secret sauce in the AI showdown. You know, those epic "AI wars" among the giants in the tech realm? Ethics could be the battlefield and the battleground. Fasten your seatbelt because I've just completed the learning path titled β€œCareer Essentials in Generative AI.” I'm strapping on my AI boots, and you should too! πŸš€

Reclaiming My Mind in a Hyperconnected World πŸŒπŸ“±

I recently found myself in Poland for a three-week holiday. At the start, I was glued to my phone, justifying it as a necessity in a world where everything resides in that tiny device. From maps to digital tickets, it was all there. But one Monday morning, as I went through my usual routine of checking news and weather during breakfast, it hit me. My phone was constantly with me, an uninvited companion.

With each sip of coffee, I found myself scrolling through news and maps, realizing I needed a change. The turning point came when a technology glitch led to a four-day Internet outage. It was then that I was forced to confront my behavior and implement a digital detox. Today, I’m sharing what I learned and how we can all benefit from occasional digital detoxing in our lives.

If you want to hear more about my personal digital detox awakening, I recorded a new podcast episode.

We’re diving into the art of digital detox, exploring why it matters and how you can incorporate it into your daily life.
