Now | March 2022

This is my “now” page inspired by Derek Sievers. It answers “what I’m doing now?“. My life, projects and priorities. I post an update here every 1-3 months.

What’s up as of March 1st?

I am working on my branding, unifying both English and Polish blogs’ look and feel.

Enjoying family time and traveling 🌊

We are back on track. We love travelling and we started planning a lot of adventures this year. Last weekend we went to Southend-on-Sea. It is a beautiful costal town. We had a lot of fun just walking along the shore.

💡 Geek fact about Southend-on-Sea:
– In late 1960s it had the one of the UK’s first electronic telephone exchanges built there.
– An annual seafront airshow, which started in 1986 and featured a flypast by Concorde

Rebuilding and tracking my habits 📈

I know the power of good habits. Unfortunately, the recent months made me going off the path. I was wondering what can give me a new jump start in the new year. I found some of the people I follow on Twitter shared some statistics from the app called Daylio. I did a quick research and installed. I’ve kept using it since. It is super easy way of tracking your mood and pre-defined goals.

Automating everything 🦾

The power of automation is the superpower. I’ve been very intentional about being more productive and efficient. Discipline equals freedom. It is worth spending extra time to automation something that may save you time the next time you need to do it. I revisited my workflows in Drafts and Nozbe. As a result, I save time whenever I try to find and process some information.

I also add some components to my HomeKit setup. After some important parcel was left by courier and later stollen in the bright day, I installed and automated the cameras.

Experimenting with new tools 🔧

I am trying some new tools to streamline the work I do for my blogs and podcasts.

  • Hypefury – Your personal assistant to grow & monetize your Twitter audience
  • Obsidian – Obsidian is a powerful knowledge base on top of a local folder of plain text Markdown files.

Improving my game 🎓

I am back to regular self-development. I’ve completed Coaching and Mentorship course and exam.

Working on this blog ✍️

I’ve changed the theme and some content. I hope the blog is easier to read and navigate through. What do you think?
