The Coffee Journeys Show: Brewing Insights on Leadership, Technology, and Intentional Life

This issue of my newsletter is going to be all about my new project – a podcast that I’ve been working on for a few past weekends. My goal was to automate as much as I could. And I did it!
There we go, I am starting a leadership podcast! Today – a bit of an intro to podcasting, my goals for this project, and 3 first episodes.

What is a podcast? 🎙️

Welcome to the world of podcasts! A podcast is a digital audio file that is available online for you to listen to on your computer or mobile device. Podcasts are a great way to stay informed, entertained, and inspired.

How to listen to a podcast? 🎛️

To listen to a podcast, you can use a variety of methods. One option is to use a dedicated podcast app on your smartphone, such as Apple Podcasts or Spotify.
You can also listen to podcasts on your computer by using a web browser and visiting the website of the podcast you want to listen to. Many podcasts are also available to stream on popular streaming services like Spotify and Apple Music.

Why should you tune in? 🎓

There are many benefits to listening to podcasts. Here are my favourite three:

  • Convenience: Podcasts are available anytime, anywhere, so you can listen to them when it’s convenient for you. Whether you’re commuting, working out, or doing chores around the house, you can tune in and listen at your own pace.
  • Variety: There are podcasts on just about any topic you can think of, so you’re sure to find something that interests you. From news and politics to sports and entertainment, there’s a podcast for everyone.
  • Personalization: Podcasts allow you to tailor your listening experience to your own interests and preferences. You can choose the topics and formats that appeal to you, and skip over the ones that don’t.

So why not give podcasts a try? With so many great options available, you’re sure to find something that speaks to you.
Happy listening!

Coffee Journeys Show – description 📝

My podcast is ready 🔥🎙️

I invite you to subscribe and listen to the trailer I recorded.

There are two reasons for this trailer.

One is obvious. I want to tell you who I am and what I will be recording.

I explore three pillars of my blog and podcast:
💻 technology
🤝 leadership
🌱 intentional life.

I will explain why each of them is important to me and how different stages in my career reflect those categories of topics.

🤲 I will tell you what to expect from my podcast and how it may help your leadership journey.

The other reason is pragmatic. Part of the podcast creation process is the moment when you add your podcast to the RSS feed to make sure your podcast becomes a podcast 🙂

You may smile, but it was one of my mistakes when creating my first podcast. I recorded the first episodes, placed them on the WordPress platform and exposed them as links. It was not available on any platform! 🙈

Lesson learned! I hereby announce that my podcast is visible on all main platforms.

    https://coffeejourneys.blog/3/
I’m back with another exciting episode of The Coffee Journeys Show. Today, we’re going to dive into the power of language and how it shapes our behavior and decisions.

Have you ever noticed how we unconsciously adopt patterns and behaviors? This can be harmful if we’re not careful. For example, when was the last time you complained about the weather? It’s such an easy conversation starter, but more often than not, it’s about complaining. We all do it, but why? In this episode, I’m joined by my lovely assistant, Droidy, and we’ll be discussing the story of Joshua Waitzkin from Tim Ferriss’ book, Tools of Titans.Waitzkin realized that he and his son were externally dependent on ideal conditions to enjoy their walks, and he wanted to change that. So, they made a commitment to go for a walk every single day, regardless of the weather. And they developed their language based on how beautiful it is. So, tune in to this episode to learn more about the power of words and how you can develop the skills and mindset needed to succeed in today’s world. Whether you’re an aspiring leader, a technology enthusiast, or simply looking to learn more about the world around you, this podcast is for you.
